Taiwan Island is a real fount of manufacturers of various computer equipment, and BenQ, the products of which we will consider in the framework of this article, are from there. The company produces a fairly large list of PC peripherals, but there is a noticeable emphasis on the development and production of various screens: information and interactive panels, projectors and, of course, monitors, which will be discussed further.
It’s difficult to call BenQ a leader in PC screens - Taiwanese are noticeably inferior in image quality and speed of implementing innovative technologies, for example, to competitors from the Korean Peninsula. But among Russian buyers, the brand is popular due to its excellent price-performance ratio, a wide choice, good image quality, and well-thought-out ergonomics.
TOP-10 best BenQ monitors
10 BenQ BL702A
A country: Taiwan
Average price: 7 200 ₽
Rating (2019): 4.4
Let's start with one of the most atypical monitors for 2019. The BL702A immediately catches the eye with a somewhat outdated 5: 4 aspect ratio. It is believed that such squares are better suited for office work with the text. This is confirmed by users in reviews who also praise the monitor for low eye strain - you can quite comfortably use it for 5-6 hours thanks to the FlickerFree backlight (no flicker), the blue intensity reduction mode and the matte display surface.
According to the characteristics of little outstanding. Before us is a high-quality TN-matrix with a resolution of 1280x1024 pixels and viewing angles of about 160-170 degrees. The response speed, contrast and brightness are average enough for an undemanding user. Claims are only to the sharpness of the image - it is too low. You can also find fault with the presence of only one video input - VGA - but, given the class of the device, minus is stretched.
9 BenQ GL2250
A country: Taiwan
Average price: 6 050 ₽
Rating (2019): 4.5
From the square we move on to a more familiar monitor with an aspect ratio of 16: 9. Model GL2250 has a low cost - only 6 thousand rubles - and therefore does not claim the laurels of a progressive device. The design is simple, the frames are thick, physical keys are used to adjust the screen, the captions for which are not aesthetically placed on the front panel. The stand is adjustable only by the angle of inclination. There are two input ports: DVI-D and VGA.
Image quality can be described by the word "good." Before us is a 21.5-inch TN matrix with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. Pixel density for this price range is excellent. Fonts look smooth, and it's nice to watch videos. But all this is on condition that you are directly opposite the screen - if you deviate, despite the stated large viewing angles, the image is somewhat distorted by color. Of interesting also worth noting the refresh rate of 76 Hz - slightly higher than usual. Otherwise, the average.
8 BenQ EL2870U
A country: Taiwan
Average price: 21 170 ₽
Rating (2019): 4.5
How much do you think a 4K monitor can cost? According to BenQ, only about 20 thousand rubles. Cheapness left a certain imprint. So, the design is simple, with large frames. The stand allows you to adjust only the tilt, no wire clips. You can connect the monitor via HDMI 2.0 (2 connectors) or DisplayPort 1.4.It is worth noting the presence of stereo speakers with a total power of 4 W - to replace the simple "pishchalkam" fit.
Impressions of the screen itself are contradictory. The diagonal is 27.9 inches, the resolution is UltraHD. Brightness range from 27 to 303 cd / m2. The response speed is only 1 ms. All indicators are encouraging, except for one very important - using the TN + film matrix. It offers a good image quality, but with TN-specific features: at the corners, the image loses its contrast, colors are somewhat distorted. You can also find fault with a little less than the stated contrast - about 800: 1. Of the pleasant features, we note the presence of an ambient light sensor, which automatically adjusts the brightness and gamma of the display depending on the type of image and the surrounding conditions.
7 BenQ ZOWIE XL2430
A country: Taiwan
Average price: 22 520 ₽
Rating (2019): 4.6
ZOWIE sub-brand includes a lot of peripherals for gamers. Not without a monitor. Before us is one of the most affordable models - XL2430. The design is relatively discreet, there are only a couple of red elements. Functionality is beyond praise. The stand allows you to adjust the height, tilt and rotation, as well as translate the display in portrait mode. There is a window for laying cables and even a handle for easy carrying. Found a place for a USB hub for 3 USB 3.0 connectors (two of which are on the left in easy access), an audio output and even a pull-out headphone hanger! Also note the remote control, with which you can conveniently and quickly change the settings for a particular game.
The resolution of the 24-inch TN-matrix is 1920x1080 pixels. The refresh rate is 144 Hz, the response is GtG 1ms - you can safely go to the eSports discipline. Pleases and brightness - nearly 350 cd / m2. Mention also deserves the function Black eQualizer, highlighting the dark areas, which facilitates the game on some maps in games like CS: GO. In the reviews, users only complain about the terrible factory calibration - you will have to adjust the display to your own taste.
6 BenQ SW320
A country: Taiwan
Average price: 92 700 ₽
Rating (2019): 4.6
SW320 is the most dimensional model with a classic aspect ratio in our TOP-10. The display diagonal is 31.5 inches. Visually, the monitor seems even more because of the wide framework. The stand deserves praise - it provides adjustment on all axes, translation into portrait mode, has a window for wires and a handle for carrying. Note the high-quality sun visor, which can be used both in horizontal and in vertical orientation. Also included is a remote control for easy adjustment of the image.
The resolution of the IPS-matrix is 3840x2160 pixels (UltraHD). Maximum brightness 350 cd / m2, but in HDR mode, which is fully supported in SW320, the figure increases markedly. The color quality is excellent, but you may need to calibrate yourself if the user is very demanding. From the factory, the monitor fully covers sRGB, and 99% AdobeRGB space. In general, a great option for photographers, video editors and graphic designers.
5 BenQ PD2700Q
A country: Taiwan
Average price: 22 990 ₽
Rating (2019): 4.6
Another model that is perfect for working with graphics, drawings, photos and videos is much cheaper than the SW320 discussed above. The 27-inch display of the model is surrounded by rather thick frames. From the reviews, you can make another drawback: hidden from the eyes, tight control buttons. In the rest, there are no complaints about ergonomics. The stand with an interesting texture allows you to adjust the tilt, turn and height, there is a portrait mode. Behind it is a hook for headphones. A strange decision, given the inconvenient location and obviously not the gaming focus of the monitor.
Resolution IPS-matrix WQHD (2560x1440 pixels). Brightness 350 cd / m2. The refresh rate reaches 76 Hz. A serious drawback can be called GtG response speed - 12 ms - but with non-gaming use of inconveniences this does not deliver. The PD2700Q covers 98.9% of the sRGB color space. Given the cost of 23 thousand rubles, the model can be safely recommended not only to designers, but also to ordinary users, for whom image quality is important.
4 BenQ BL2581T
A country: Taiwan
Average price: 15 650 ₽
Rating (2019): 4.7
Fourth place TOP give one of the most balanced monitors of the company. Model BL2581T is sold at a price of about 15.5 thousand rubles - the price available to a large number of buyers. In this design, ergonomics and characteristics will not cause any complaints. The side and top frames are very thin; Note the presence of a USB hub for four USB 3.0 Type-A and one Type-B. Video inputs weight: DVI-D, HDMI 1.4, DisplayPort 1.2 and VGA.
The display, made by technology IPS, has a diagonal of 25 inches. The resolution is not quite typical - 1920x1200 pixels (16:10 aspect ratio) - which allows you to fit on the screen a little more information vertically. Brightness 300 cd / m2. The remaining figures stand out weakly from the competition. Of the interesting features, we note the presence of an ambient light sensor, a backlight without flickering, a function for reducing blue, and even filters that help people with color perception disorders.
3 BenQ ZOWIE XL2740
A country: Taiwan
Average price: 39 240 ₽
Rating (2019): 4.7
Three leaders open one of the top gaming monitors on the market. The design is already familiar to you from the above ZOWIE XL2430. The only differences are slightly larger dimensions and sunblinds on the sides. The latter perform the same role as in professional designer models - they protect the screen from glare. Also, the curtains will be useful in various tournaments, because it will be more difficult for opponents to see what is happening on your display.
Hope for excellent picture quality is not necessary. Despite the high cost, about 38 thousand rubles, the quality of color and viewing angles leave much to be desired. You can also find fault with the pixel density: at 27 inches, the resolution is only 1920x1080 pixels. But the speed, which is more important in games, is amazing - the response speed is 1 ms, and the maximum refresh rate can reach 240 Hz. With such a monitor and a suitable "hardware" you can perform in eSports disciplines at a professional level.
2 BenQ EX3501R
A country: Taiwan
Average price: 48 700 ₽
Rating (2019): 4.8
Gradually, online cinemas are increasingly penetrating our lives. And if so, it is not necessary to have a TV - enough of the monitor, like the EX3501R. The design is noticeably different from other BenQ models. It is more refined, airy. Place a massive stand took a thin V-shaped. But there are also disadvantages: only the angle of inclination and height in a small range are regulated. Video inputs weight: 2x HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.4 and even rare USB Type-C 3.1, through which you can not only image and sound, but also recharge a compatible laptop.
Diagonal VA-matrix 35 inches, the resolution of 3440x1440 pixels. The screen is, of course, curved for greater convenience and immersion. Brightness indicators slightly higher than the declared - 375 cd / m2. But the contrast is actually less - about 1900: 1, which can also be considered an excellent result. Up to 100Hz refresh rate supported by AMD FreeSync. Of the chips already familiar to BenQ light sensor and Eye Care system. In reviews, users praise the model for excellent factory color calibration.
1 BenQ SW271
A country: Taiwan
Average price: 69 160 ₽
Rating (2019): 4.8
The leading position we give the monitor with the best image quality. The SW271 uses a flat 10-bit IPS-matrix with a diagonal of 27 inches and a resolution of 4K UltraHD. Pixel density is very high, graininess can be seen only from a minimum distance. Brightness 350 cd / m21000: 1 contrast, 5 ms response speed. Indicators are not a record, but it's difficult to find fault. But the color rendition is excellent: 100% coverage of sRGB and 99% Adobe RGB. In addition, the scope of supply includes a calibrator and calibration software, which allows you to adjust the image to your taste.
The design is already familiar: all frames, except the bottom, are minimal; control buttons are located in front (there is also a remote control), and a fairly massive stand allows you to adjust the position of the monitor along all axes. Video inputs abound: a pair of HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.4 and USB Type-C. On the left side is a pair of USB 3.1 ports and an SD card reader, which is very useful for photographers.
